Doval’s visit comes in the back droop of incursion into the Chinese territory by the Indian Army near Sikkim border. The Chinese foreign minister Wang Li asked for the withdrawal of the Indian troops for any meaningful dialogue with India. Doval will meet Chinese President Xi Jinping and his counterparts from BRICS during this tour.
