Hyderabad: In a bid to encourage cashless transactions, Telangana government will launch T-wallet similar to the e-wallets like paytm. This would allow the citizens to pay for various government services and bills. IT minister KTR instructed officials to lay more emphasis on security, privacy and ease of use in the app. The app will also be available in Telugu language so that even people in villages can use this application. The t-wallet will be available on all the platforms like desktop, smart phones, feature phones, tablets. Initially the app would be made available in the GHMC circle and would be extended to other areas as well.
KTR has also said the app should be not contains links to other apps or services like the other state government apps but it should be one platform for all the government services.
