Govt to use satellite technology for skill development

Telangana government has signed an MoU with the Indian Space Research Organisation (ISRO) to use the satellite technology for skill development and other allied activities. Using this technology Mana Tv will air programmes from October 1st 2016 for giving coaching on group 2 and other competitive examinations. The programmes will be a mix of live and recorded. KTR also said that digital classes will be started soon in the 6000 schools across the state.

Other use of satellite technology include assessing flood situation during rains and also to for detecting the presence of under ground water for drilling bore wells. Speaking to the press on the occasion KTR praised the public service commission for being the role model in the country by using the one time registration for several government jobs.
