Case registered against AP for copy rights violation

Hyderabad: The unhealthy competition between AP and TS has reached a level as TS government has complained to the cyber crime police about the copyrights violation of application forms for Ease of Doing Business (EODB) In a letter dashed to the Union Minister of State for Commerce & Industry Nirmala Sitharaman Telangana IT minister Rama Rao lamented that the such acts by AP are undermining the hard work done by TS to attract investment. What’s more funny is that AP has even copied the typographical errors from the TS website. The EODB rank is crucial for attracting investment and every year the Depart of Industries and Policy Promotions (DIPP) gives the ranks based on various parameters.

Meanwhile of Tuesday Principal Secretary (Industries) Arvind Kumar said Telangana Government had prepared a “Commercial Court Fee and Process Fee Online Payment” application (e-module) on June 28 and submitted it to the DIPP. Andhra Pradesh did not submit such application till the last day for submission – midnight of June 30, but once the date was extended till July 7, it had copied Telangana’s application along with spelling mistakes in the format and submitted the same to the DIPP. “Telangana has formulated a unique procedure – Submission Reference Number for Industries – under the TSiPASS. Though the process is not in vogue in A.P., the same terminology was used in its application. As a result, the ranking of A.P. has improved all of a sudden”, Mr. Arvind Kumar pointed out.
